As we pass through these dimensions and perform what we see to be linear actions in a linear time line, these actions actually all happen at the same time in a fourth dimension. So if you think of a period of time like an hour as a box, you can see that as things happen over the course of the hour, all over the universe, they are all accessible in the box. This is the way that digital recording devices work. As you record sounds on your computer, the computer is actually leaving markers in the space-time continuum. When you play back those sounds, your computer is actually traveling across space-time and traveling through the same dimension that you just passed, except that it is also where you are, so you can hear the result.
